Is your computer running as slow as molasses? Do you have questions about your mobile device? Need help installing software on your personal computer? No fear, the ResNet/ Service Center is here!
If you answered yes to all or some of these questions the best place to get advice or help is the Information Technology Center, room 160. The service center offers great opportunities for help and education on technology based questions and concerns. The Service Center typically helps out enrolled students on a daily basis but is also available to faculty and staff at the University of Wyoming. On a usual busy day room 160 helps students when their computers have crashed, a computer or mobile device has a virus, a user needs help installing or purchasing Microsoft software, the Ethernet in their dorm is not working, or a computer is running slow. The service center can also help you set up your UW email, log in to eCompanion, or show you how to add to your print quota. Remember, no question is a bad question! In any case, the consultants in room 160 are ready to educate their users. This means, if something is wrong with your computer (or iPad, phone, etc) you need to bring it in and the consultants will show you how to fix the problem and what you can do in the future to avoid it. They do their best to help answer questions or take their time to help solve your problem. Don’t know who to look for around room 160?
