Problems with your Internet connection?
There can be a numerous reasons why your Internet isn’t working in your dorm room or apartment. It can be caused by your router or your computer is misconfigured. Sometimes a virus can be picked up off of a port that will infect your machine. If you use file sharing software, UWIT will disable your port if an issue occurs. Also, faulty wiring can cause issues with your port. By filling out the Residential Network Problem Report form, ResNet will be better able to assist you in a timely manner to resolve any of the problems you may be experiencing.
ResNet charges are included in your room fees. The only thing expected is that you leave the Internet cable when you move out or they will assess a charge of $15 to replace it.
