So you’re staying in Laramie for the summer! YAY! Next week we will have a post about the daily ways to entertain yourself in this wonderful Wyoming town, but today I’m going to focus on some bigger events taking place in the area over the next couple months.
1. Cheyenne International Film Festival. May 19 – May 22 at the Historic Atlas Theater.
Yeah, you read right. INTERNATIONAL film festival, They have three days of great indie films planned. Check it out and grab your tickets today!
2. The Patti Fiasco. May 28 9pm at The Library.
This Country / Rock band takes their influence from Springsteen, Cash and Petty. Great lyrics, charming kick-butt lead singer Alysia. This concert is sure to kick off your summer in Wyo perfectly. *The Library is a local pub, call for details (it’s not stipulated that it’s a 21+ show)*
3. Davina and the Vagabonds June 26 doors at 6:00pm at The Alibi
Hailing from NYC this 18 year old rapper is well known in the hip-hop crowd. Check out a few of his songs in the link above.
**Sorry Freshman and Sophomores, this is a 21+ show, but hey take a walk around the neighborhood, you’re sure to hear him!**
